Experience
I received an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland. It was there that I learned advanced computer science concepts. After graduating from the University of Maryland, I went on to earn a PhD in Information Technology Management from Capella University in 2012. At Capella, I served as a mentor to young females, and I illustrated all of the potential career paths they could take in the fields of science and engineering. Now that my education is complete, I continue to reach out to students of all grade levels, instructing them in the subjects of mathematics, science, technology, and business. The subjects I tutor are disciplines that I am extremely passionate about bringing to the forefront. In order for our society to advance technologically, we must explore and master the concepts of science and math. I have worked at Oracle for years and, in my role, I have led many instructive seminars about information technology. Doing this has opened my eyes to a desire to teach. My tutoring involves tons of praise and encouragement. I try to keep things positive in the name of success in fields often thought to be complicated. When I am not tutoring, I am active in the Girl Scouts. I also enjoy the theater, water aerobics, and community outreach. I now reside in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
