Experience
My work as a tutor has been varied. I specialize in college level Algebra, including I and II, Geometry, and Statistics. My qualifications for this kind of work come from the West Virginia University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics. Tutoring was a part of my life from a young age; in high school, I instructed religious education classes with my church. Back then, I thoroughly enjoyed working with groups of students to help them learn about difficult subjects, and I enjoy it even more now. Math, by far, is one of the most complicated subjects to learn and master, so it is truly a pleasure to see my students develop their abilities, thanks to my instruction. My approach to tutoring is to break down large concepts so they become easier to understand in their individual parts, and then focus on the larger problem. This is where the joy of math comes in, because it becomes a process more significant than just solving an Algebraic problem - in fact, it can teach the learner how to solve any problem through simplification. As a bonus, I'm very skilled in cutting edge technology, and I incorporate the latest apps into my lessons.
